TROPICAL RAIN.

Hello friends ,
Once again a big thank you for the lovely comments .
We have been out most of this week so not much time for  some of my hobbies .
It is just warming up after a cool week and late yesterday afternoon we had showers more like Tropical rain .
So the garden had a good water .
I worked in the garden for a few hours today .
Then I thought before I start my stitching I better put a blog on.
The birds seem to have settled down now , and there should be lots of babies soon .

So this week I have been working on my SAL.
Stitching allot of the boarder .
I have also been catching upon my knitting .

So lets show you some photos first is my SAL .

,

This is so pretty the linen is a cream more like a pale lemon , but really does not show on the photo.

I found this one in my old box so it will go in my basket for finishing .

Almost finished the baby blanket

My first grannies dish cloth
Thank you Lynda , you sent me so many in the past and they are so useful .

Now over Easter I saw this blanket and fell in love with it .
So yesterday I sent for the full pack of wool to crochet it.

I did buy this branch of apple blossom in the week it was not cheap but is large and very pretty it looks so real .

Now back to my real plants my tropical plants are flowering and growing like crazy .

They will be going outside after next week .

So after the rain I will take you into the garden .

Roses are coming out all over now

Hanging baskets ready to go out soon.

Hope you all have a happy and wonderful week .
Thank you again for your comments .

Oh, the new blanket looks great, beautiful colors. Are you going to take the same?
Are the yellow flowers a Dipladenia? I got one of my husband's for the wedding day, in red.
Have a nice Mother's Day and let yourself be pampered a bit.

  7. Hello June,
your SAL looks so romatic. I like it.
Your flowers look great. You must have, so we say in Germany, a green thumb. I love flowers but have no good hand for my garden. I am always happy when it looks tidy.
Have a happy day and hugs

  19. Flowers are gorgeous! My purple Iris are starting, but we just don't have much else going right now for the color that you have. You're pretend flowers (apple blossoms), truly look real. The SAL are all so cute. The blanket you're going to make is really cute, will you be using those colors? I like the variety of stitches in it, lots of texture. Right you are, you just can't have too many cotton cloths.
