Hi all,
Are you enjoying the sunshine this week , well I have made the most of it before it goes colder again.
I have been climbing up on the wall cutting back old branches and deheading old flower heads .
The garden came alive this week with every where full of colour.
Hubby is making me a wooden table trug , to grow some salad in .
I wanted one for ages and he just found lots of wood in the shed , and after an hour it was made .
I will show you it once it's painted.
Our clocks went forward so we lost an hours sleep , but it will be lighter .
The birds are starting to nest , and the bees and butterflies are out already .
I have been stitching , but no finishing the last few weeks , so when the sun goes in that will be my main job.
So here is the little bit of stitching I worked on this week .
The flowers were lovely to stitch lots of back stitching now.
And one of my cards arrived to Manuela for Easter.
Yes I have been stitching a few Easter cards
It was Mothers day yesterday , look at the lovely flowers my daughter brought for me , just beautiful.
Royal Albert bone china just a couple of pounds what a bargain.
We have a busy week coming up so I will leave you with some garden photos .
I know some of you have had cold weather so hoping I can cheer you up with whats to come .
I love all the flowers inside and outside the house. Love your stitching. Have a wonderful week. thanks for the sunshine and flowers. We still have some snow and cold weather. big hugs.

ReplyDeletePretty stitching and the little China set you found is lovely. How pretty the pink and white flowers look in the pitcher. I love finding inexpensive little treasures to freshen up my home, too. Looking forward to seeing your painted table trug. Have a wonderful week ♥
Le viole ricamate sono bellissime!! Anch'io sto progettando il giardino, vorrei fare un orto-giardino con fiori e verdure mescolate.
ReplyDeleteYour weekly embroidery looks really cute, little violets.

ReplyDeleteDear June, how nice to see spring on your blog! Yes, in fact, here we are getting cold weather again, they even talk about snow. But walking virtually in your garden is good for the eyes and warms the heart.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous primroses you are embroidering, this work will also be very beautiful. Adorable ceramics, I also collect beautiful mugs.
A hug ciao Susanna
Wonderful flowers and stitching. Love the creamer and sugar bowl! Reminds me that I have a set of Irish Belleek which I will use for my short stemmed flowers. Thanks for the idea;-)

June: Your garden wall is growing and looking positively welcoming.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Easter Card.
The floral design is so bright and very pretty.
I wish we had sun, we have sleet/snow and many accidents.

ReplyDeleteyour stitching looks great. The colours are so soft.
Thanks for the Eastercard.
Your garden looks great with all these spring flowers.
Today it is very cold outside. In some areas are snow.
Have a nice start in the weekend. Manuela
What a lovely garden, full of colour already. We have a totally new garden having moved into a bungalow where the garden was weedy grass and 8ft hedges.. But we've dug flower beds and a veg plot, so we're looking forward to a summer of colour as its south west facing.
ReplyDeleteYour garden always looks so beautiful June. That china set is adorable & I think I would've bought that home with me also. I've been away to my Mums again so am just trying to catch up on some blogs now. Enjoy your weekend June. xx

ReplyDeleteGreat find the china set, well done for spotting it!!
