Hello friends we are into another week ,
We are almost into May ! time again is going so fast , or maybe I am getting slower .
I seem to be always rushing about , Monday is here then a blink of the eye and it's Friday .
And this is my favorite time of the year.
So I am going to try and make more time and sit and smell the roses .
I need to make a do it list again , I started one at the start of the year and it worked so well but then things happen and with the Easter holidays to .
So today I will go back to my do it list , and get back my free time in the afternoons.
We are having some beautiful weather this year , we have not really had a bad winter just a few storms and since then most days are sunny with colder nights ,
That's why we have Spring and Summer flowers out together , I now have my first roses out and yet I still have bluebells out .
Today I have a finish and more on my new WIP.
I will start to rotate my UFOs again starting next week and hoping to finish a couple they have been in the box far to long .
So here is my New Finish .
Hope by Cherry Hill Stitchery .
I stitch it on 28cnt not sure of the colour ,
Only I have two big bags of material that were given to me and I am trying to use them all up.
We know there are many people right now that need HOPE
And the backing material .
And this was my WIP before .
And now .
Well we are already eating our lettuce every day that we are growing and it just melts in your mouth .
I love this kind because you can just take off what you want and it carries on growing .
Our first rose of the year and it was the last rose of last year.
All of our roses have buds on them so you will see more soon .
The garden is showering us with flowers every where so will leave you with a walk around.
And a big Thank you to all who leave me with lovely comments , I have made so many friends on the blog I feel I know you all now .
June: It is cold here but soon warming.
ReplyDeleteYour pillow is adorable with the perfect backing fabric.
Your Teacup WIP is so beautiful, I am so looking forward to seeing it finished.
As always, your gardens bring a warm smile to my heart.
Your seating area is lovely, it looks so comfortable.
Hugs
Catherine
My goodness, June, what a beautiful garden you have. I bet if a weed comes along it turns right back and finds another place to grow ;-))
ReplyDeleteNice stitching - I particularly like the teacup ;-)
Ursula
You have so many flower out already and they look wonderful. Although the sun is shining here it's quite cool indoors, I've just made myself à water bottle because I'm cold! Love your little bunny finish and great progress on your WIP. Have a lovely week x
ReplyDeleteYour Hope pillow is lovely. I really like the little ribbon pile on top.
ReplyDeleteI have a gardening question. We recently had some large conifers cut down. The soil under where they were growing is very poor. Half dust and half conifer bits! What sort of plants like really poor soil?
Have a very happy week June. I know what you're saying, no sooner is it Monday, then it's Friday again just like that, lol. xx
ReplyDeleteI love to see your garden photos June - it always looks so pretty. Your finished cushion is delightful - yes we sure do all need hope. I hope you have a great week June. xx
ReplyDeleteYour little pillow is so cute - and we all do need hope. I love also your new embroidery and the garden photos, you live in a little paradise ;-) Have a nice week.

Yes, hope! Perfect. It is pretty. I always enjoyed the fresh lettuce from our garden also. :) Thank you for sharing your lovely garden.
ReplyDeleteOh, your little finsih is cute, the two rabbits are very sweet. Your WIP is so pretty with the roses.
ReplyDeleteand already grown a bit.
And your garden is already in full bloom.
Happy Stitching, Martina
June, Your latest finish is so sweet and love your finishing. World certainly needs a lot of hope. Your gardens are just stunning!! So much color already, I am still waiting for my daffodils that are in shade to bloom! Your spot is just perfect to have tea and stitch, I'm glad to hear your going to make more time for yourself to enjoy it. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteDear June, the "Hope" pad is a true love but your WIP is growing wonderfully well, I can't wait to see it finished. And what's better than tasting the tender salads produced at home, in your own garden? There is no comparison with those bought from the greengrocer or supermarket!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is very early with those rich and luxuriant blooms: the fruit of a lot of dedication and skill, of course. It would be nice to embroider there with you and amiably sip tea.
See you soon ciao Susanna
Your spring post is so lovely filled with beautiful flowers and stitching, June! I love your little hope finish--as you say much needed right now by so many. That looks like such a lovely place to sit and relax while enjoying your pretty blooms. We did have three beautiful days in April (yes, only 3!), and it is going to freeze tomorrow, but hopefully May will be better. Enjoy your week, my friend ♥
ReplyDeleteTon jardin est merveilleux avec toutes ces jolies fleurs printanières. Il fait encore bien froid ici malgré le soleil qui joue à cache cache avec les nuages. Je te souhaite une belle semaine ma chère June.
