Yes I love this time of the year and Happy days out side .
Watching the wildlife in the garden and the days of summer are rolling by .
We brought a couple more plants to add to our garden , and the gardening man at the desk said what beautiful colours together , I looked at hubbies face and I smiled and he said yes it was my wife who picked them out , he was not sure about the colours himself . So I was smiling all day long .
Well I stitched one of Dany's beautiful simple charts this week of more flowers she is so clever how she captures each flower . I sometimes change the thread to the nearest one and I stitched this one on 28cnt .
LILAS BY DANY .
Backing material shown in next photo is what I used.
Now it is in the mix of lovelies on my dresser

My 3 new plants .
I bet you all know what the flowers are .

That is such a pretty floral design. Is it lilacs? I do love them, we have quite a large hedge at the end of the garden.

ReplyDeleteOh, what a lovely, lovely finish, June. The thread you used is so pretty. I am not normally a purple lover, but this one is so sweet. Beautiful flowers, too! I need to take a trip to the garden center this weekend and buy a few more annuals. Ours have not done well this year for some reason. Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing weekend ♥
ReplyDeleteI commented once, but it disappeared, June--I'm really having difficulty commenting on blogs in Europe. They must have changed some settings...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I LOVE your little pillow. I'm not normally a fan of purple, but this one is so sweet. Very delicate and pretty the way you have it displayed. I love your new plants, too. I really need to go buy some more as many of those we bought in early June have not done well (or the deer have eaten them--I feel like we fight a losing battle sometimes :)
Happy July, my friend! ♥
