Winter stitching and Summer gardening .

 Hi all ,

I am here at last , we went out today shopping for a few things that  we needed and had a nice meal out .

I think it's cheaper to eat out now days , than having the cooker on all day with the fuel costs .

The cost of living is going up and up , we have cut down a little but the prices are getting silly .

Well it's warm today but we have had some showers this morning just right for the garden It's hard work with a watering can.

I have now started to pick up my Christmas stitching it seems so early but a blink of  your eye and it's right  here . So I thought I better make a start , the only positive thing is it makes you feel cooler seeing the snow ha.

So straight on to the stitching , so this week this UFO  came out .

And a little more stitching and it's starting to grow .

The Guy from our local boxing club brought  me a lovely bunch of flowers .

My hubby and I have supported  them all  from the start ,what a great team .

Men ladies boys and girls all go there , and it's growing .

                                    ------------------------------------------------------------------

This hanging basket keeps growing .

I think it's time for the front garden this week

Lots of hard work goes into the garden but we love it .
Have a good week my friends .

Your hanging basket is filled to the brim, we have a dark purple petunia plant that is blooming beautifully.
Despite all the gardening, enjoy some of your time stitching.

  11. Gosh your garden is so beautiful June - & that hanging basket took my breath away. The only thing flowering here at the moment is a camellia bush that is trying to burst into flower. xx

  12. I just love the little Christmas village that you are stitching, June! It reminds me a bit of the Prairie Schooler Christmas village that I stitched last year, but with different colors. Your flowers and hanging baskets are all amazing! I'm just curious--do most of your neighbors have wonderful flower gardens as well? We just don't have anything like that in our neighborhood due to our deer issues. Plus our colder climate doesn't help :) Enjoy your week ♥

  13. I'm suffering from garden envy - beautiful flowers I love them all - I haven't done anything with my garden this year I felt so down earlier in the year but now I wish I had, although I usually grow more edibles than beautifuls. I think maybe you've inspired me to make plans for the next year so thanks for that. I also love the winter picture you're stitching, please can you say what the colour and fabric is that you're using - the snow shows up so well on it. Thanks for taking time to share.
