Beautiful weekend .

What a beautiful relaxing weekend , we sat in the sunshine I was reading a book , then we would potter in the garden ,watching the sweet birds being so  busy and the black bird was singing the sweetest songs .

The bees were busy  to and a few more butterflies were flying around .

What could be better , then I started to think how lucky we were .

With others around the world fighting and I would really love for them to have peace .

Well it's been another busy week  so the warm weather the weekend was wonderful.

I did pick up a UFO and started to put in a few more stitches in  , I would like to finish this one for this Christmas .

                                                    Winter Stamp by Vervaco

My friend and I hit the shops this week  we also popped in a few thrift shops and I found two bargains .

A pretty dish and a sweet jug .

I do love collecting this lovely china .

I will leave you again with some past stitching many were for gifts to friends and family and a few I keep . Also some garden photos of the garden , it's gone crazy right now every thing is starting to bloom .

Welcome to my garden in May

Well I just had to smile while writing this , the rain is coming down .
Good job we made the most of the weekend and the sunshine .
Enjoy your week and above all have fun.

  1. I love Winter Stamp June, so pretty. Your garden always has so much colour, it's beautiful. I have a few yellow roses blooming but we are way behind you. Yes, it's raining here now too, I did manage to get my washing dry before it arrived though, and the garden could do with it. Have a lovely week.

  2. Yes, we are very lucky to live freely and without war in our countries, June. It's just so very sad that the war continues in Ukraine. I can't imagine our lives being turned upside down like theirs have been...

Love your bird piece--so very sweet! As are all of your past finishes. It's fun to pick up a new piece of china or other decorative item for your home, isn't it? I love getting little treasures here and there, too.

Hope the rain stops and you can enjoy more lovely hours outside! Have a wonderful week ♥

The pretty little pillows you gave away all turned out so magical, and your garden photos too, lovely!
When I embroider I'm quite peaceful, but then when I see the news on TV, it shakes me.

  20. Ciao dearest June, what a pleasant weekend you have had: everything seemed so comfortable in your beautiful flower garden with roses.
The Vervaco embroidery is fantastic, just as the ones you made some time before are enchanting. And I discover that we also have in common a passion for beautiful ceramics! I'm glad to hear it. Here, on the other hand, it has been raining since tonight but I must say that it was needed precisely because it was too sultry and humid and the earth and the flowers were starting to really suffer from thirst.
I hug you and greet you, wishing you a good beginning of June
    Susanna
