Hi everyone,
I am back ready to start stitching again, after a lovely break.
I never took any stitching with me so can't wait to get started.
I think it's going to be Christmas stitching now, it's time, if I need to post early.
Well, it's all been going on here while we were away, our dear Queen passed she will be so missed, she was our country, and I do hope King Charles will do a great job to.
My garden has grown so much with the rain we have had.
So yesterday once I put the washing in, I was outside cutting back all the dead flowers, I have allot of flowers still in bloom, but now is the time to plant new bulbs, then cut plants right back ready for Spring.
My daughter is coming over today so I can't wait to see her and give her a big hug,
My hubby had a pile of post so that was his job to sort out everything, looks like it's going to be a crazy Winter with high bills for energy.
So back to cross stitch I will be working on this one this week.
Christmas Sentiment, by Magic Needle.
I have also started a small Christmas one too.
Flowers are still in bloom in the garden, so I picked a few roses.
We always go to Tenerife we love it here a few photos.
Well, I have almost finished the washing and ironing, packed most of it away.
Just a few more jobs and I can sit and stitch a little, have a fun week hugs June.
Anch'io ho iniziato a ricamare per Natale e ho piantato dei bellissimi bulbi, spero che l'anno prossimo fioriscano bene
ReplyDeleteGlad you and hubby had a great vacation. Sorry about the Queen. I think she died from a lonely heart. Missing her dear husband. Any way I hope Charles can step up to the plate and be a good king. Big hugs from New Brunswick. Enjoy your stitching.
ReplyDeleteHello June, the beginning of Christmas Sentiment looks very promising. The flowers are still blooming profusely in your garden. The holiday laundry is always a lot of work, but when you're done, you'll have plenty of time for your stitching again.
ReplyDeleteThe death of Queen Elisabeth also kept us very busy in Germany.
Hugs Andrea
So many of us share your loss of a Queen that not only symbolized longevity of
ReplyDeletereign, but constancy, consistency, and a full heart for her task. I grew up observing her example of noblesse oblige from afar and will be ever grateful that
we resided in the same century. So glad you had a good vacation and seem to
have already tackled you garden and household chores sufficiently to meet the
Christmas stitchery challenge.
Hello June: What a beautiful header, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you had a great holiday, the photos are wonderful.
Nice flowers you picked.
The Christmas Sentiment is beautiful, looking forward to seeing it finished.
Catherine
I hope you had a lovely time away June, the photos look so nice. Very sad about the Queen, still seems a bit unreal. We are still using our fire here in NZ, and there's a polar blast expected over the country at the end of the week - thought it was meant to be spring, lol. Have a really good rest of the week x
ReplyDeleteWelcome Back June! Your flowers are still looking beautiful even though the season has changed. Your Christmas piece looks good too. Is there much more to stitch on it?
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful time away June - lovely to see you back again. Your garden is still looking so pretty. Enjoy the week. xx
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have you back, I'm glad you had a good time. Thank you for the nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas stitch looks great so far.
The Queen's death has shaken me too and I think her son Charles will do a good job.
enjoy your week, Martina
Your cross stitch pieces & flowers are always so very pretty.

Welcome back, June. Good idea not to take stitching with you on holiday. Time for something else but I know the fingers itch to stitch after a break.
ReplyDeleteHappy stitching!
