Hello all , March is almost here I am so happy , Spring is almost knocking on our doors .
It's been a very long damp winter and cold with it , today we are lucky the sun is out and it feels so bright it hurts the eyes , we have been in the dark far to long . we did not get much snow this year but just so much rain.
The days were also very short and nights very long. I feel so much better in the sunny days. it's been a busy few weeks though , always far so much to do .
Any free time I have been stitching a little more and working on my puzzle , but it is so hard to do , I will keep going I won't give up .
So today I will show you a little tray cloth I am stitching with some cute month girls and boys by Lesley Teare.
I think they are so cute , and below another one coming to life
I do like the little tray cloth you are stitching.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the flowers in bloom.
Enjoy the coming weekend and early wishes for a happy March and Anniversary.
All the best Jan

I do love the little tray cloth, so cute. I quite like the longer nights, longer days mean more to do, ha ha.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you buy your x stitch kits from
ReplyDeleteThe little monthly babies look sweet, absolutely magical, each one of them. You've chosen great colors for your blanket. A magical kit.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a nice weekend,
Martina
Hello June,
ReplyDeleteso lovely the little boys and girls. I love them very much.
Your new cross stitch kid looks great. Happy Stitching on this piece.
Have a nice weekend. Manuela
We had a big snow here, but it's been in the 40's all week, so it's all gone now.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful kit.
Pretty flowers.

Yes dear June, here we are at the last day of February: I find that time is flying! But I don't really trust that spring is really around the corner, despite the flowers that bloom vigorously. Yours are truly spectacular, in their shades, but the lilies of the valley are truly enchanting.
ReplyDeleteThe placemat with the children is very sweet and you chose a rather complicated embroidery kit but I'm not surprised, given the very difficult puzzles you do :)
Warm greetings and have a good start to March
Ciao Susanna
I love your flowers! They are so pretty! It's finally starting to warm up here and I think a couple of the flowers we have at our office are starting to grow. I'm hoping that means spring is finally here! Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDear June,
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to stop embroidering because your children's designs are so adorable, but you have other things on the go. Spring has come to your garden, it is blooming beautifully and I wish you lots of sunshine and warm days. Hugs Erna
How beautiful your new work will be! The monthly pictures are so cute. You have chosen a magical and sophisticated new set, I hope you have fun stitching.

ReplyDeleteBonjour June,
ReplyDeleteJe te souhaite une très belle journée d'anniversaire avec beaucoup de fleurs, de soleil et d'amour.
Mille bisous tendresse.
I'm like you, June--I'm much happier with some sunshine. Not much of that here, but we just got back from five days in Florida where there was plenty of it :) Your stitching is so sweet and the blanket's colors are lovely. Just like those wonderful flowers of yours. Hope you have a great month ahead--can't believe how quickly this year is passing by! ♥
ReplyDeleteJune - I think many of us agree with you about the sunshine. Your tray cloth is adorable. And your crocus, daffodils, early snowdrops and other flowers sprouting! The best part of fall plantings is having them appear in Spring. Warm weather and longer daylight hours are just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteI just love your girls and boys. They are so darn cute and so adorable. Way too cute. I love your Blanket. This is so pretty. I love the Colors. Your Flowers are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteMy area has been getting lots of Rain and Cold Temps and not so much snow. Today is Friday, March 7th and it is cold - rainy - snowy out this evening. The Temps is suppose to be going up starting tomorrow. I hope so.
Take Care - Happy Stitching - Happy Crocheting
