AUGUST.

OH yes it's now AUGUST .

How did this happen , maybe because of our beautiful Summer this year , So many hot days outside have been the normal , so not so much stitching.

Patio is now finished my hubby and strong GS made a lovely job .

My hubby now has some ideas to make it a lovely place to sit , we are high up so the views are beautiful . Now we need to change the fence .

So hopping next summer we can sit up there.

I am looking forward to more stitching this autumn , I have sorted my Christmas stitching  out and  what charts I would like to stitch and rotate my larger stitching . There is always temptation out there for new charts but I am trying to hold back  .

Just been told we have a storm on the way for today , that's not good with 70mph winds , that will finish the garden .

I have now been told it will hit the upper parts of England and it will be 90 mph . I do hope everyone will be ok.

I have been trying to finish that puzzle I started months ago , looked so easy , but no its the hardest one I have ever done. It's still on the table I hope it won't be there for Christmas !

So what have  I stitched this week , well I fell in love with this sweet design free with my CS magazine it just took my fancy.

I started puzzle weeks ago, and look really slow progress

But I never give up even if it joins us for Christmas  dinner .

So I will leave you for now with a few more photos of the ever blooming garden . This is where most of my time goes in Summer.

Have fun all see you soon.

  2. Greetings June: Love the Anchor design, very pretty and so famine, yes July did fly by its sad that time is getting away from us, so much stitching to be done.
I do pray that the storms do not do any damage, 90 mile an hour winds sounds horrible. That does look like a complicated puzzle. Thank-you for the lovely floral photos.

  3. So many lovely colours in your garden, I have clay soil and some things just don't do well and it's so dry because of the lack of rain. We still haven't had the rain that some other parts have. Yes Christmas is fast approaching and will be here in no time, I don't know where the time goes!

  6. This anchor is very pretty, a lovely little summer motif.
The summer heat has returned to us now, I enjoy being in the garden and on the terrace in the morning, and at midday I sit in the cool house and stitch.
    Have a nice Sunday, Martina

  7. Glad you've had such a wonderful summer, June! Even if you haven't had much stitching time--that will change with cold weather. Lovely flowers and what a cute piece of stitching. Hope your August is going well (sorry to be late with my comment--we were down in Maryland visiting our grandsons again :) ♥

  8. I really hope the storm didn't damage your beautiful flowers. We only caught a little bit of a report about storms in Scotland.
Your embroidery is so beautiful, and the puzzle is growing too – it's great to see! You're so right, it's about time to start looking for designs for Christmas cards! Time really does fly by so quickly ....
    All the best, Erna

  10. Ahoj,
máš krásne kvety, obdivujem. A výšivka je tiež pekná, ja teraz vyšívam veľmi málo, radšej teraz čítam :-)
