Enjoying the Summer.

Hello friends , another week passes by .

This year is the fastest I have ever know , I keep playing catch up.

Maybe I am outside to often ! but I seem to be so slow with my stitching.

The brightness of the sunshine has been to strong for my eyes to stitch outside.

I am still cleaning out my craft rooms , so the knitting and sewing group are very happy.

I wanted to do allot of finishing this summer but no I can't stay inside when the sun is shining .

I have sorted some of my large stitching out and restarted on  of them .

Also my hubby is home more this year and we go out more and sit talking over coffee at home , planning what needs doing on the house this year, always something.

I must say I have enjoyed this Summer so far,

It gets you away from all the bad news on TV .

We did watch the ladies football the other night Wow they are as good as the men's football.

We have one more group to play Spain  on Sunday .

They also look good , so we will be watching .

That's about all from here this week .

So back to the stitching .

Brought out this WIP, it is a pretty one .

So it should grow by next week I hope .

  2. I'm sure your husband being home more now has cut into your stitching time, June. I find that I don't get nearly as much stitched in the summer as I do the winter. That's great that you're getting so much sorting done. Love seeing those pretty larger projects--you always choose things with the most lovely colors :) beautiful photo of your garden and bird feeder, too! Enjoy your week! ♥

  9. Have a great summer, June. On days that are cloudy and cooler, it'll be more comfortable to stay indoors. Your birdhouse looks really nice, both as embroidery and in the garden.
Wishing you a fine new week, Erna
