Summer week.

Back to lazy summer days ,

I love sitting outside with my coffee a couple of times a day.

I love watching the wild life , this year so many beautiful butterflies , I have not seen so many for years , I know we have been letting some fields go wild to encourage them , but I think it's the beautiful sunny days we are  now having , Insects seem to know , why I have no idea I also spotted lady birds and lots of Bees of all sizes even  tiny black ones  , but not many big ones. Yesterday  a big dragon fly flew by me.

Hubby also found two very large  black caterpillars , that turn in to  beautiful  large  Elephant Hawk moths they are pink and olive green and found on Fuchsia plants.

Working on my WIP still .

Now this is the caterpillar he is  large  and look he has a face.

I told hubby, there is no way I am going outside in the dark.

Look I am sure he is looking at me

So now back down to earth at last I am done with

the puzzle . Put the last part in last night .

It as taken weeks , so hard .

No more until the Autumn.
Then I may do another one .
So  I will end the post with a few flowers .
My writing is jumping about from large to small.
I think my PC has gone mad.

The above rose is a new one , when my Hubby was
doing the best show gardens in our town last year, he said to one man I love that rose , well the dear man took a cutting and gave it to him  and this year  and it bloomed.

Have a lovely week all , sorry about the writing jumping around .
This PC has a mind of his own.

  4. Hello June: This year has gone by the quickest in my lifetime, not sure why, wish it would slow down a bit. We have so many beautiful birds coming to our feeders, my favorites are the Red Robin the Cardinals and the Orioles, all so colorful.
Your work in progress is lovely, I can see why the puzzle was a tough one, all the different flowers to connect. Your garden photos are as usual beautiful, thank-you for sharing.

  10. I'm glad you are getting time to sit outside and enjoy your beautiful gardens and wildlife, June! We've had more butterflies than usual, too, and I attribute that to our long hot rainless summer. We need rain so, so badly! Lovely progress on your pretty stitching and well done on the puzzle. That caterpillar looks a bit creepy to me--ha ha! Enjoy this last week of August, dear June! ♥
