Hello friends,
Just back from holiday , with friends we had a wonderful time , not much rest it was full on . loved every moment . Sun every day , what could be better. Just don't like the airport so busy. I have almost done every bit of washing and allot of ironing . We met our daughter the day after it was her Birthday so I needed to give her gifts , she loved them.
So now we are back the garden needed allot of work , the flowers are still blooming but will have to come out soon to be replaced by bulbs .
The grass was to long to cut with a mower , so had to be cut down first.
I have no stitching to show this week , so I will show some passed stitching ,
Have a lovely week , and I will sort out my new stitching soon.
Right back to the washing and ironing .
When you go away for a long time you forget where every thing is. Lots of catching up to do now , we have already been to a few get togethers with friends, also need to bring forward all winter cloths . Not to cold yet we still have a little sunshine , but that won't last for long. Enjoy your week.
Wonderful finishes. I love them.

Beautiful stitching - as always - June. I am so pleased to read that you had a wonderful holiday - there is nothing like a holiday to give you a good break & come home with renewed energy, though always lots to do upon return too. xx
ReplyDeleteDear June,
ReplyDeleteOh, what a wonderful post, one photo is more beautiful than the next, thank you!
I'm happy to be back on blogger. I also like your posts that I haven't commented on yet, especially your magical embroidery and nature photos.
See you soon, best wishes from Berlin, Jutta
Your embroidery is beautiful again, especially the cherry tarts ;-) After your vacation, there is a lot to do now, take your time and let the beautiful days still have an effect, enjoy the colourful flowers in the garden and the sun.

ReplyDeleteHi June, I'm so happy to be back reading your blog; I've been absent for a while. I'm glad your holidays were lovely and relaxing, and we're in good company with the washing machines and irons: I'm putting away the summer clothes and getting out the heavier ones. It's starting to get a little chilly, but I love this season and its warm colors. As always, your embroidery is gorgeous. A big hug!
ReplyDeleteCiao ciao Susanna
Greetings June: Happy Birthday to your daughter, I bet the gifts you gave here are lovely. Thank-you for sharing the lovely designs you have stitched in the past, they are beautiful. I love seeing your floral photos, we have taken all our flowers out due to the cold weather here, soon snow will be flying, UGH.

That sounds like such a lovely, joy-filled holiday! ☀️🌸 Even if it wasn’t exactly restful, those full, laughter-filled days with friends are always the best memories. Coming home to a busy airport and piles of laundry sounds familiar — but it’s so sweet that you got to celebrate your daughter’s birthday right after! 🎁💐 And tending to the garden again feels like the perfect way to ease back into routine — fresh bulbs for a new season ahead. 🌷💛
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful time for the garden, I too am thinking about which winter plants to plant and I can't wait to get ready!
