AUTUMN.

Oh yes it is Autumn time now .

The trees look so pretty this year with bright orange colours.

I saw a lovely butterfly yesterday trying to come inside , most times they live in our garage high up ,  in the back .

We went out to the garden shop yesterday to buy some bulbs but they are not down in price yet , so we will wait , past years we got them for 1/2 the price . All my iris  are growing up out of the soil already.

I am getting in front for Christmas this year , l was way late last year.

Our clocks have gone back now so the nights are dark early I don't mind I can stitch a little more , there is always a positive .

The roses have to be cut back this week , I will miss them.

I met up with a friend this week for coffee it's always nice to see my friends .

I am also reading a new book I saw it and had to buy it , It's about Cadburys in the 40s . I worked there years after when I left school  at 15 yes 15. I wanted to be a hair dresser but my dad said no you go there they are a very good firm  to work for, so I did and it was a great time for me. I made many friends and still keep in touch with a few of them .

One of the best times of my life , but sadly I think they were taken over. I was asked if they could use my hand in a advert once that was going world wide , that was fun .

I am 1/2 way through reading it and the places they talk about I know them so well . It was the wrong time zone .but most things were the same .

So what have I been stitching lots more cards , and an angel for my tree . Also lots more, here are a few more that will be flying all over.

So that's all for today I  will leave you with a last few flowers from the garden before it falls asleep. The shops are full with Christmas goodies , so we have been out there looking .
We did buy a few packs of bulbs for the garden , always fun to see them pop up through the soil .
Have a fun week.

  5. Your cards are all so lovely, June! We bought some bulbs the other day and I was shocked at the price! I should have waited a bit like you to see if the price comes down. That must be a fun book for you to read considering you worked at Cadbury! When we went to Canada each summer when I was growing up, I always enjoyed getting lots of their chocolates :) Hope you have a great rest of your week! ♥

  6. Greetings June: I must read this book, I belong to two book clubs, so much fun talking about the books we are reading. Lovely cards, your floral photos are always beautiful. I am not a fan of turning the clocks back and forth.

  10. Oh, you're so industrious and have made so many beautiful and different cards, they're wonderful to look at.
Most of the leaves have fallen from the trees here too, but the ones we still see are truly golden, gorgeous.
    Have a lovely time, Martina
