JANUARY

Well we are now into January , cold and frosty so we can sit in the warm and stitch  a little bit more . But really it is to cold to do any thing .

We have not had cold weather like this for years .

So it takes time to get use to it.

I have now packed all my Christmas bits away , but it always looks so empty after.

I started a new book and a puzzle , and I am working on more cross stitch .

Before I go back into the garden in the Spring.

We are really enjoying our time at home after such a busy year.

We had a real bad storm the other night , but I don't think there is much damage , we had a red warning of over 100 winds mph .

One poor man died when a tree fell on his caravan.

I have been having trouble with my pictures so its making me very late showing my photos but here are some beautiful cards I had from my lovely stitching friends . More to show next time .

Thank you everyone and a Happy New Year.

  4. What lovely cards and gifts. Glad the storm wasn't too bad in your part, we didn't get the windy weather so much but we did get some snow and lots of ice, it's all gone now though and it's wet again, although it's been a lot warmer today 10 degrees!! Enjoy the week

  7. It was very cold here at the beginning of the year too, with constant frost and snow. Then we had one mild day, it thawed, and then it snowed again. Now we have almost mild temperatures, sometimes windy, sometimes rainy, and not much sun. You received some beautiful cards.
    Enjoy this time, Martina
