SPRING.

At last Spring days are here , but they say it will get colder first .

We are having some work done on our house ,with hubby home more he is getting allot of jobs done that needed doing.

I love to walk up the garden every day to see what is new .

I always meet one of my friends for coffee every other week . The last time I found some lovely shops and a sewing shop with DMC threads I was over the moon , because most of the sewing shops are now gone . And I have to order on line , so now I will keep my list with me each time I go.

I am stitching lots of smalls and trying to get more done on my large stitching . It's been a long Winter , and I am happy to see Spring is arriving , we had two lovely days this week so I worked in the garden .   Happy Mothers day to all.

Back to my stitching . I have to start back on my many larger charts .

The one above I fell in love with , it's been in my box for years so

now I am back working on it .

Sorry about the dark photo  most days are dark.

Bark to the garden Spring is back and we have had a                             few nice days . after all the darkness .

My eyes are only just getting use to it.

Spring is here  at last , but the rain was not so good for the lawns , but the birds have loads of moss for making there nests .

                                    Enjoy your week.

  2. A lovely post June - spring is so pretty & colourful in your world. We need rain here - it is very dry. I was digging in the garden yesterday & it was rock hard. Your stitching is beautiful - I am glad you found that sewing shop - we need to support these small business's. Have a lovely week June. xx

  5. So many beautiful spring flowers! I'm very envious as we have none at all yet. That's great that you're getting some projects done around the house and still finding time for stitching and gardening, June. The larger piece you're working on is so pretty. Hope the sun shines for you this week, my friend! ♥

  6. It's raining and cold here today, and I'm eagerly awaiting spring! It's so nice to find small shops; they're more expensive, but the human touch is fabulous.

  11. June - I always know when I read a post from you I will see beautiful flowers and the cutest patterns. I am glad the weather has warmed up for you. For me too, here on the east coast of the US of A. 72 yesterday but 48 and raining today. We have to take those days outside when we can. So glad you found a store to shop at. It is sad the brick and mortar stores are going away. The internet is so convenient but there is nothing like seeing it in person and touching the fabrics, etc. R
