APRIL

Well April is here , the garden is starting to bloom . I can hear the children out playing in the park , we have had a few beautiful days of sunshine , my eyes have to take time to get use to the brightness after the darkness of the Winter.

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Easter , My hubby and I had the first Easter on our own this year . I thought I would not like it but it was wonderful , we had a rest relaxed done a few jobs outside and made lots of plans for the future .

My daughter worked this year , but she phoned us and we had a good chat , she has a new pet rabbit called Bucks fizz , So hubby has been picking up all her rabbit bits for her like a new pen and run and food .

Our garden is  alive with colour , even a rose bud ready to come out !  Well no snow this year just a touch of frost the odd morning.

We have to hope we don't get any or we will lose allot of blooms , one year we did have a late snow fall in April .

Ok I stitched a little on my WIP . Sorry I can't seem to get it any  lighter .

Thank you for all the lovely Easter cards my sweet friends .

                   from Andrea                                    from Jutta

    from   Erna                                                      from   Nancy

Thank you my sweet friends  , sorry I took so long to show them my Pc is still not working right but I am getting there.
The garden has gone mad this last week with all the colour it could give us , and one day was so hot but it's cool again now .

Have a lovely week I am hoping to get back up and running soon .
I think I may look for another PC  sometime this year .

  1. Your garden always looks so vibrant & full of colour June. We had easter on our own too - well one day a short visit from Grandchildren & then on the Monday I went south to visit eldest grandson. But I don't mind it being quiet - especially after years of cooking & feeding everyone, its nice to have a rest. Have a lovely week June xx

  4. Family celebrations are wonderful, but every now and then it's also nice to relax and take it easy. It's a warm spring here, and all the flowers are in bloom. Let's hope there's no frost.

  8. Your flowers always bring me smiles, June! You are an expert gardener, I can tell. Lovely stitching and Easter cards. It's been sunny here, too, but tonight there is a freeze warning--not good for all of the spring blooms. Hope you have a lovely week ahead! ♥
