Beautiful May .

Beautiful May,

I love May , all the flowers are coming into bloom and the weather is getting much warmer even hot . I love walking into the garden every day to see what new blooms we have. The roses this year are fantastic and the fragrance is wonderful.

The downside is going to lots of appointments dentist , well woman  and covid injections , which I had but was so ill the day after .

A little less sewing time but will pick that up soon , and I am hoping to get more finishing done . I spent time with a friend over coffee .

Then met Hubby for lunch and a little shopping.

We have almost planted  the tubs in the garden . I love watching the birds playing in the water feature , and seeing some lovely butterflies. What could be better.

Well It's getting a little to hot to stitch now , we are having a heat wave . So I will show some older stitching , with what I am stitching on at the moment that some of you have not seen before .

I found this one above in a Cross stitch mag , so should have it finished soon.
And the one below I stitched ages ago .I am still having a few PC issues with my photos .

Here it has been very hot for some time , so I am enjoying the weather.

Have a great week and enjoy .

  1. I have been reading about how hot it has been for you June, also in the USA I believe has been exceptionally hot. May here has been autumnal but very mild & the leaves are later to fall this year. Have a lovely week June enjoying your beautiful garden. xx

  6. Oh, your flowers are just stunning, June! I'm so envious of your warm weather. It has been so chilly here that we are still having to have our heat on in the mornings because the house gets so cold at night. I don't ever remember that in June. Speaking of June--someone has a birthday coming up soon! I'll wish you a very Happy Birthday now as I'm going to be busy with my son's wedding festivities for a while :) Happy gardening and stitching, my friend! ♥

  13. Hello June: So sorry for the late comment, it has been very busy here at Chateau Laurent, it has finally warmed up here in Minnesota, I do not like going to the dentist but do so every six months.
I love meeting friends for coffee a really relaxing time, for me.
The designs you are showing are beautiful, I do hope you are able to get in some stitching time.
    Your flowers are stunning.
