MAY .
I just love this month , the garden starts to come in full bloom even thou I had roses out in April . We had a very mild winter no snow, a few morning frosts , but lots of rain so many rainy days. We are changing parts of the garden , to make life a bit more easy.
I have been sorting out my outside craft room , what a job it is so many large books sewing things stamps I have collected over a few years , but I know most of these are going to my friends at the knitting and sewing club to make money for charity . It's a good feeling to let them go now. I have enjoyed them for many years . I will keep back about 10 of them . So that's a good start to my clearing out .
The last weeks we have also had some lovely sunny days , really hot now it's cold again.
You really can't plan things .but we have had a very mild winter .
My Daughter has a new rabbit called Bucks Fiz, So I thought I would stitch her a rabbit .
This one is from the collection Tralala.by Corinne Rigaudeau /
Not sure yet how to finish it .
Oh it's been one of those weeks , what with well woman tests and Covid jabs , and blood testing , my arms still hurt .The flowers this year have been beautiful again .
We have still not planted all the plants out , but there as been a lovely show already ,
Well enjoy your week , we need to make the best of our time and enjoy what ever we love doing .
Oh, your beautiful flowers certainly lifted my spirits here, June! It is only 45° (7.2C!) and is rainy and gloomy. We have not had a very nice spring, but things are looking up beginning on Saturday. Your bunny stitch for your daughter is adorable! And good for you for cleaning things out. I'm going to make myself settle down and do the same after my son's wedding next month :) Enjoy your day, my friend! ♥
ReplyDeleteGosh its so lovely to see all the flowers & roses blooming in your garden June - we are a sea of fallen leaves here, but that has beauty too. The rabbit is adorable - I have been attempting some cross stitch but nothing like your gorgeous work. xx

Dear June,
ReplyDeleteOh, how beautifully things are blooming on your blog! It seems you must have had more rain and it wasn't quite as wintry-cold, as it was here in Berlin.
Your little embroidered bunny and the key are absolutely charming; thank you for all the photos.
Thank you, too, for your comment on my blog, I was absolutely delighted to receive it.
Warm regards,
Jutta
