MAY

May.

Don't you just love this month , not to warm and the start of new life everywhere in the garden , new leaves on trees new baby birds , butterfly's flying around . The black bird singing his beautiful songs , birds washing  in our water features . Also getting warmer . The sun is warm and you can sit outside again. I have also had  roses out and now I can see them all opening up .

I am late with my post again , life is so busy here. But at last starting to slow down , my husband and I have had some days off and days out for lunches . One night we went out with friends to a lovely fish supper and walked along the sea harbour , looking at the beautiful boats down there , I should have taken my camera but forgot .

Not to much time for stitching , but now I am ready to pick up my needle again, I find it gives me inner peace , and I do miss it when I am busy .

I am trying to get all my stock used up and found a big box of stitching paper , so I am making a few gifts for friends , I love working on perforated paper . a few more stitches in my large stitch I can see this will take many months to stitch so many changes of colour thread .

My hubby has been so busy , and I took over the back garden and he said what a wonderful job I have done !  so he treated me to some nice meals out.

The weather has been wonderful. lovely sunny days.

Ok not much stitched with this beautiful weather , You have to make the most of it.

I stitched a card for our friend Jutta.

I found this chart in a old stitching mag.

Start of a book mark for a friend I love stitching on paper .

I found this in a very old book .

A few more stitches in my large  stitching.

Also my blanket is growing .

A few photos of the garden all the roses are out now .

                           So early this year.

,

                             Have a great week all.
