SPRING

Spring is now here ,

I love this time of the year  , New life every where ,  new leaves on the trees , new baby birds will be here soon , bumble bees , and pretty butterflies , I have already spotted two on my flowers. I work in the garden every day if it is dry , I just love nature , every day a new plant starts to push up out of the soil , such a peaceful place, away from all the negative news on TV.

We took our daughter out for lunch the other day  , only she had to work all of the Easter .

The lighter nights are here so more cross stitch can be done , but I really need to do some finishing soon .

We had our 2nd Covid jab , It's still out there  lots of people are still going down with it , so we were offered to have it again , to protect us this summer .

Another busy week . But I did get a little stitching time.

The stitching below I stitched before so I have stitched another. For myself, but not sure how to finish it yet , I have to think about it.

Happy Easter by Jarvin Prive .

Not many stitches yet. but it is growing slowly , You can see the birds coming together.

A  few more spring flowers to lift our sprits .

I will  leave you with the California  poppy . already out very early.

Have a lovely week .

  9. Stunning flowers and beautiful stitches. What a treat to read this! I want to get into stitching. It looks so calming and fun. I'm trying to find things to help me feel better. I'm going to therapy and that's helping. I'm very happy to have come across this. Thank you.

  14. Spring is wonderful, and so is your embroidery – I'm excited to see your birds in the nest.
This morning I heard the cuckoo for the first time this year, and my lilacs in the garden are starting to bloom... otherwise, the sewing machine is ready for a top to go with my new summer pants – coming next on my blog.
Best wishes to you and lots of fun with needle and thread.

  17. I keep forgetting to mention I love the little pillow in your header photo. So sweet. Everything is coming into bloom beautifully in your yard. I too love to sit outside and listen to the sounds of spring - even the distant lawnmower in a neighbors yard or kids chattering as they ride their bikes by. Such a warm, cozy feeling to hear the sounds of springtime
